Spartans Capture Men's All-Sports Award

Men's All-Sports Award

The standings of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's All-Sports Award have been finalized with the completion of the 2017-18 academic year, and Aurora University captured the men's title.

This is the seventh time overall the Spartans have won the award.

Aurora compiled an 11.000 index, ahead of runner-up Benedictine University which had a 10.333 index and third-place MSOE's 8.611.

Concordia University Wisconsin was fourth (7.900), Edgewood College fifth (6.750), Dominican University sixth (6.286) while Wisconsin Lutheran College was seventh (6.167).

Concordia University Chicago (5.188) was eighth, Marian University (4.667) was ninth, Rockford University 10th (4.143) and Lakeland University 11th (3.850).

The Aurora men's teams took home championships in basketball -- both regular season and tournament titles -- cross country, golf and outdoor track & field, along with a tournament title in baseball.

The men's standings use a 14-point base.

Concordia University Wisconsin won the NACC Women's All-Sports Award, announced with the completion of the women's conference events last week.
