Concordia University Chicago's Andrew Massey and Marian University's Zachariah Sandoval have been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Position Player and Pitching Baseball Student-Athletes of the Week for events of May 7-13, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Massey (Chicago, Ill.) hit .480 (12-for-25) to lead CUC to 4-2 record and runner-up finish at the NACC Tournament. The senior first baseman hit a solo homer in the eighth inning of first Sunday game versus Aurora University to keep the Cougars in the chase. He tallied seven RBIs -- including three against Concordia University Wisconsin in an 8-2 win -- and five multi-hit games including four hits versus MSOE.

Sandoval (Santee, Calif.) allowed just two earned runs in 7.0 innings of work in his lone start of the NACC Tournament, a 5-2 loss to MSOE. The sophomore struck out two and scattered seven hits in his final start of the season.
