Aurora University and Concordia University Chicago learned of their NCAA Regional schedules as the 2018 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship bracket was unveiled late Sunday night.
Champion of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament, Aurora (30-13) earned the league's automatic bid, while regular-season NACC champion, Concordia Chicago (33-12) received one of 18 at-large berths.
The Spartans will compete at the Sauget, Illinois, Regional hosted by the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference as the No. 6 seed and will face No. 3 University of Texas-Tyler in their first game Thursday.
The Cougars will compete at the Duluth, Minnesota, Regional hosted by the College of St. Scholastica as the No. 1 seed and will face the No. 6 seed Bethany Lutheran College Thursday.
All regionals will use a double-elimination format and winners of the eight regional tournaments will qualify for the pool play double-elimination championship at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, Wisconsin, May 25-30.
