Concordia University Wisconsin's Brianna Wagner has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for events of Nov. 20-26, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Wagner (Fond du Lac, Wis.) averaged 22.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week to start the Falcons season. The senior forward poured in a career-best 26 points in the season opener against No. 13 Hope College. She then posted a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds in a NACC win at Lakeland University Saturday. Wagner was 10-of-11 from the charity stripe for the week, and also averaged three blocks per game, four of those coming against the Muskies.
