Dominican University's Kendyl Todd has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Volleyball Student-Athlete of the Week for events of Oct. 2-8, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Todd (Crete, Ill.) led the Stars to a pair of NACC victories last week, hitting an even .500 on 48 swings for the week, including knocking down her 1,000th career kill. On Friday night, Todd led Dominican with 17 kills to just three errors on just 30 attempts. The senior middle hitter added an ace and four total blocks, averaging 5.1 points per set. Todd followed that up with 11 kills on just 18 attacks. For the week, Todd averaged 3.5 kills per set and added 1.0 blocks per set.
