Aurora Continues to Receive Votes in AVCA National Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (naccsports.org) --- For the eighth time this season, the Aurora University women's volleyball team is receiving votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Coaches Top 25.

The Spartans (16-5, 10-0 NACC), who have clinched a berth in the NACC Tournament and will be seeded no worse than third, travel to Edgewood (9-16, 5-4 NACC) Friday night looking to secure the league crown outright. Aurora will then step out of league play Saturday with a triangular at Elmhurst (9-15) that also features top-ranked Calvin (19-1) before closing out the NACC slate Wednesday, Oct. 24, by hosting Dominican (16-7, 7-2 NACC).

Through Oct. 16, Aurora ranks fourth in NCAA Division III in assists per set (12.97) and seventh in kills per set (13.76). Individually, Emily Lines ranks seventh in assists per set (11.08), while Katie Vondra ranks in the top 45 in kills per set (33rd, 3.96), points per set (33rd, 4.54) and attacks per set (44th, 10.74).
