Point Total Continues to Rise for Aurora in AVCA National Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (naccsports.org) --- For the ninth time this season, the Aurora University women's volleyball team is receiving votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Coaches Top 25.

The Spartans (18-6, 11-0 NACC), who captured the program's first NACC title since 2006 and have locked down the top seed in the NACC Tournament, wrap up the league slate Wednesday evening at home against Dominican (18-7, 9-2 NACC). Aurora will then close out the regular season with four matches this weekend at the Baden Invitational hosted by Washington University in St. Louis.

Through Oct. 23, Aurora ranks fourth in NCAA Division III in assists per set (12.95) and eighth in kills per set (13.74). Individually, Emily Lines ranks third in assists per set (11.11), while Katie Vondra ranks in the top 52 in kills per set (31st, 3.95), points per set (31st, 4.58) and attacks per set (52nd, 10.63).
