Cross Country Weekly Awards Announced For Oct. 9-15

Wisconsin Lutheran College's Jacob Jodat and Benedictine University's Emma Roberts have been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's and Women's Cross Country Student-Athletes of the Week for events of Oct. 9-15, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Jodat (Pewaukee, Wis.) earned his fourth career victory Saturday at the Private College Championships in Watertown, registering a season-best 8K time of 25:51.8 to top the 74-runner field. This marked Jodat's third victory of the season and his time of 25:51.8 ranks 10th best in program history. This marks Jodat's fifth straight weekly honor.

Roberts (Sandwich, Ill.) placed fourth overall and third among scoring runners at the UW-Oshkosh Kollege Town Sports Invitational which featured 353 runners and 24 teams. This marks Roberts' second consecutive weekly honor.
