Whalon, a faceoff specialist, posted a .667 faceoff win percentage over two games, finishing 30-of-45 while picking up 24 ground balls. He was 15-of-23 on faceoffs with 11 ground balls in a 10-9, double-overtime loss to Dubuque, then went 15-of-22 with 13 ground balls in a 13-8 win over Edgewood.
