Alsteen, a senior right-handed pitcher, was just about perfect on the bump while leading Marian to a pair of road victories. He opened the week with a shutout of Edgewood, scattering eight hits and one unearned run over nine innings. Alsteen then tossed the final four innings in a relief appearance against Dominican, allowing just one hit to lead the Sabres to a 13-7 comeback victory. He needed just 141 pitches to cover his 13.0 innings of work during the week.
