Whalon, a junior faceoff specialist, went 27-of-32 on faceoffs with 25 ground balls as Benedictine posted NACC victories over Cornell (8-3) and Beloit (13-7). He won 12 of 14 faceoffs and scooped up 10 ground balls against the Rams, then added a 15-of-18 performance with 15 ground balls against the Buccaneers.
