Colon Maldonado, a senior, finished runner-up in two events at the Chicagoland Championships over the weekend. In both events she was the top Division III finisher. On April 4, she ran 4:31.91 in the 1,500, which leads the NACC by more than 12 seconds and ranks her eighth in Division III. The following day, she ran 9:41.16 in the 3,000. This is a new Aurora record by 17 seconds, and is the 12th fastest outdoor 3000-meter run in NCAA Division III history.
