Smith, a sophomore long-stick midfielder, led the Spartans' defense to NACC road victories over Edgewood (12-9) and Lake Forest (11-7). He caused five turnovers and scooped up 15 ground balls in the two contests, including a season-high four caused turnovers against Edgewood. He also added an assist against the Eagles.
