Serafin, a freshman, went 2-0 on the weekend with wins over MSOE (4-3 in 15 innings) and Rockford (8-0 in five innings). Serafin tossed 20 innings to earn two wins with a 15-inning win over MSOE in which she allowed three runs while striking out four and scattering nine hits over the 15 frames worked. She then bounced back the next day to toss a complete game five inning shutout over Rockford, allowing just one hit and striking out six.
