Mateus, a senior placekicker, booted a pair of field goals and connected on an extra point in a 20-13 loss to Aurora. He kicked a 29-yarder at the halftime horn to put Benedictine ahead 10-6 and added a 32-yarder early in the second half to push the lead to 13-6.
