Michael, a senior quarterback, totaled 447 yards of total offense and accounted for five touchdowns in the Muskies' 51-40 season-opening loss to Carthage. He completed 27 of 43 passes for 355 yards and two scores and also rushed 26 times for 93 yards and three touchdowns. Michael also completed a pair of two-point conversion passes.
