Yager, a first-year defender, had three points in two games last week from her backline position. She had the assist off a free kick on the lone goal in Illinois Tech's 1-0 home victory over North Central (Ill.) on Sept. 3. Yager followed that up with a goal in the Scarlet Hawks' 4-0 home victory over Elmhurst on Sept. 6.
