Mrotek, a senior guard, scored a career-high 37 points and added 11 rebounds as Lakeland edged Dominican, 86-83, on Feb. 7. He was 11-of-16 from the field with four 3-pointers and a near-perfect 11-of-12 from the free-throw line against the Stars. Mrotek opened the week with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists against MSOE. In two games, he averaged 29.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game while shooting 60.0 percent (18-of-30) from the field, 42 percent (5-of-12) from 3-point range, and 85.0 percent (17-of-20) from the free-throw line.
