Alderman, a senior, threw a massive personal best and school record throw in the shot put at the Red Hawk Invite, tossing 14.55 meters (47-9) on her final throw of the competition, improving her previous best by nearly 2.5 feet. Her mark is now second in Division III. She also had a second-place finish in the weight throw with a toss of 16.43 meters (53-11), just two inches off her personal best, and sits 24th nationally.
