Gregorius, a sophomore outfielder/catcher, batted .643 (9-of-14) as Lakeland took two of three games in a season-opening series against Cornell College. He posted three doubles, one home run, nine RBIs, and five runs scored against the Rams while recording a .588 on-base percentage and a 1.071 slugging percentage. Gregorius had multiple hits in all three games, going 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs in the series opener, then had four hits, including a double and a home run, three RBIs, and three runs scored in the middle game. In the series finale, he had two hits, including another double, while driving in one and scoring twice.
