Klitzke, a junior, opened the 2026 outdoor season with wins in the shot put and hammer throw at the St. Norbert Early Bird. His mark of 16.75 meters (54-11 1/2) in the shot put is a new St. Norbert record and currently ranks sixth on the NCAA Division III performance list. Klitzke won the hammer throw with a toss of 52.22 meters (171-4) and took third in the discus with a mark of 44.99 meters (147-7). All three marks currently top the NACC outdoor performance list.
