Sainz de Rozas, a senior, was named Women's Track Athlete of the Meet at the 2026 NACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships after winning the distance triple (1,500-5,000-10,000). She opened her championships Friday by winning the 10,000-meter run in 39:06.08 - a relatively pedestrian time compared to the NACC all-time record of 34:02.86 she posted at the Drake Relays one week earlier. On Saturday, Sainz De Rozas won both the 1,500 and 5,000 in NACC Championship record time. Her winning time of 4:34.94 in the 1,500 erased the mark of 4:35.30 posted by Aurora's Deyanneira Colon Maldonado in 2024, while the winning 5,000 time of 16:59.94 supplanted Colon Maldonado's year-old mark of 17:08.50.
