Payant, a senior guard, had a big performance in St. Norbert's key 66-60 win over Wisconsin Lutheran on Feb. 7. He finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds while also adding one assist and one steal in 39 minutes. Payant's defense was also crucial as the Green Knights collectively held the Warriors to 60 points, 21 points under their current season average.
