Schermacher, a freshman, qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Championship in the heptathlon after tying a St. Norbert record and setting a NACC all-time mark in the event with 4,815 points this past weekend at the Ripon Last Chance Qualifier. Schermacher is the No. 9 seeding in the event at the national meet.
