Ginty, a freshman goalie, made her collegiate debut by making five saves and scooping up six ground balls in a 16-5 season-opening win over Illinois Wesleyan. She also played the second half of the Spartans' 22-5 win over Carroll, entering the game with a slim three-goal lead and posting a clean sheet over the final 30 minutes.
