Malmberg, a senior, made his 2023 debut by striking out six in a seven-inning complete-game effort as Aurora defeated Saint Joseph's (Maine), 13-0. Malmberg allowed just three baserunners and made two assists defensively against the Monks, who were a 2022 NCAA qualifier.
