Leader, a sophomore midfielder, led Aurora to a 2-0 week with wins over Elmhurst (10-8) and at Calvin (11-9). Elmhurst had entered the contest unbeaten and receiving votes in the national coaches poll. He tallied six goals and an assist overall with four goals and an assist in the win over Elmhurst and a pair of goals against Calvin.
