Halvorsen, a junior, went a combined 4-0 in singles and doubles last week for the Warriors, who started 2-0 in the NACC for the first time since 2013. Playing at No. 4 singles, he defeated CUC's Kevin Januska 6-1, 6-2 on March 18, before prevailing in three sets over CUW's Isaac Bruins 6-7 (2-7), 6-1, 6-3 on March 19. Halvorsen also teamed with Jon Kannenberg at No. 2 doubles for wins over the Cougars (8-0) and Falcons (8-3), respectively.
