Michels, a graduate student, went 2-0 in both singles and doubles action while leading St. Norbert to a pair of dual victories to keep the Green Knights in contention for a NACC regular-season title. He posted two pivotal victories in a 5-4 win over Concordia Wisconsin, teaming with Brian Coulter for an 8-3 victory at No. 3 doubles before grinding out a 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 win over Dylan Nadolski at No. 3 singles. Against Wisconsin Lutheran, Michels teamed with Coulter for another 8-3 victory at No. 3 doubles, then added a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles as St. Norbert posted a 7-2 team victory.
