Buske, a sophomore pitcher, went 2-0 last week with victories over North Central (Ill.) and Alverno. She tossed a three-hit shutout as the Spartans posted a five-inning run-rule victory over the Cardinals (12-0). Against the Inferno, Buske allowed one run on eight hits in a complete-game effort as the Falcons picked up the 4-1 victory.
