Fritsch, a freshman, broke MSOE records in both the discus throw (45.59 meters) and shot put (14.49 meters) while finishing second and fourth, respectively, at the Wisconsin Private College Championships April 2 at Carroll University. His mark in the discus throw sits 20th on the NCAA Division III performance list, while his mark in the shot put ranks 42nd.
