Alvarez, a graduate student, won the pole vault at the Green and White Invite hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College after clearing 4.70 meters (15-5). The mark currently ranks second in NACC and in the top 20 in NCAA Division III. Alvarez was also the runner-up in the javelin throw with a mark of 46.40 meters (152-3).
