Doubek, a senior infielder, hit .522 (12-of-23) last week out of the leadoff slot as Benedictine went 4-1 last week. He scored six runs, doubled twice, stole a pair of bases, and drove home five. Doubek posted four hits in game two against Edgewood and three hits in a non-conference win over Wheaton (Ill.). He hit safely in all five games with four multi-hit affairs. Doubek owns a 16-game hitting streak and a 24-game on-base streak.
