Vanveldhuisen, a junior forward, scored three goals last week as Illinois Tech opened its season with a pair of victories. She scored the lone goal in the second half of the Scarlet Hawks' 3-0 victory over North Park, then followed that up with a pair of goals in Illinois Tech's 4-1 victory over Augustana.
