Samuta, a senior, went 3-0 at No. 2 singles on the week with 6-0, 6-0 victories over CUC and Alverno and a 6-3, 1-6, 7-6 (5) win over Edgewood. The victory over Edgewood was the deciding point in a 5-4 win over the Eagles and put the Falcons in the driver's seat for the NACC title. She also posted a 3-0 at No. 1 doubles with Ricki Budewitz, winning 8-1 against CUC, 8-3 against Edgewood and 8-0 over Alverno.
