Wright, a junior defender, helped St. Norbert to two wins in the last week - a 2-1 win over Concordia Wisconsin and a 6-0 win over Concordia Chicago. Wright scored the game-winning goal against Concordia Wisconsin with a marker in the 63rd minute. Aided by Wright on the back line, CUW did not get a shot the remainder of the game. Against CUC, Wright helped pace a defense that yielded just four shots to the Cougars in getting the clean sheet.
