Baltes, a sophomore defender, led a back line that allowed only one goal over three matches played this past week. Baltes led the team with 215 minutes played for the week, including her customary 90 minutes in the Scarlet Hawks' 4-1 victory over CUW iin the NACC Tournament quarterfinals. In that match, Baltes scored in the 62nd minute to give the Hawks a 3-1 lead. Defensively, Baltes led the back line in holding CUW to just six shots for the match, including only one shot in the second half. CUW had been averaging almost 16 shots per match in conference play. For the week, Baltes herself generated six shots, one on goal with a goal in the tournament opener.
