Brey, a senior, won the men's individual title at the 2023 NACC Cross Country Championships, covering the 8-kilometer course in 25 minutes, 39.3 seconds. Brey became the third Falcon men's runner to win a NACC individual title, joining Micah Lorenzen (2006, 2007) and Andy Ashenden (2009, 2010).
