Colon Maldonado, a junior, set a pair of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference indoor records at the Aurora Grand Prix on Jan. 19. Her mile PR of 4:56.64 broke her own conference mark in the event by 2.5 seconds She currently ranks third nationally in the event. Colon Maldonado's 3K personal best of 9:57.71 is also a new Aurora University and NACC record. She improved on the old conference record by more than 15 seconds (Emily Paull, Aurora, 10:13.39, 2015) and currently ranks ninth nationally.
