Alderman, a sophomore, broke the MSOE school record in the shot put with a toss of 13.30 meters (43-7 3/4) to finish third at the Dick Hendricks Invitational hosted by Ripon College. The mark currently tops the NACC performance list by nearly nine inches (0.22m).
