Lopez, a freshman, won all three of his singles matches and split a pair of doubles matches during the Scarlet Hawks' spring trip Hilton Head. Splitting time between No. 4 and No. 5 singles, he posted a straight-set victory over Oswego State's Ethan Bannochie, 6-1, 6-2, and added a pair of match tie-breaker victories over East Texas Baptist (2-6, 6-2, 1-0 [6]) and Asbury (5-7, 6-4, 1-0 [9]). Lopez added an 8-3 victory at No. 3 doubles partnered with Avneet Singh.
