Faber-Cournane appeared in the circle in five of Dominican's six games last week, posting a 4-1 record. The senior conceded just four runs while striking out eight. Against Benedictine on April 9, she scattered four hits and one run while striking out two in a 2-1, complete-game victory. Against MSOE on April 13, Faber-Cournane twirled a five-hit complete-game shutout with two strikeouts in the opener, then took the loss in relief in game two after allowing one run on three hits in two innings of work. She also worked both halves of Domincan's doubleheader sweep of Aurora, scattering one run on three hits while striking out two in the opener as the Stars won 9-1 in five innings. In the nightcap, Faber-Cournane came on in relief just three batters into the game and went the rest of the way, scattering seven hits while allowing two runs (one inherited) and striking out two in the circle. She also scored the game-winning run as Dominican won 4-3 in nine innings.
