Doherty, a sophomore, won the discus and shot put at the Green & White Invitational hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College. She posted the 10th-best mark in Division III in the discus with a throw of 42.55 meters (139-7). Doherty set the Edgewood school record in the shot put with a heave of 12.19 meters (40-0) and added a third-place finish in the javelin with a mark of 29.86 meters (97-11).
