Zakeri, a senior forward, had a career week for the Scarlet Hawks, scoring six goals as Illinois Tech improved to 4-0-1 overall with a trio of victories. He opened the week with a goal in a 2-1 victory over Lawrence on Sept. 11, then added two in a 5-0 win at Eureka on Sept. 13 before capping the week with a hat trick in a 4-1 victory over Lake Forest on Sept. 15. He finished the week with 12 points on 11 shots (10 on goal), and a .545 shot percentage.
