King, a junior goalkeeper, came up huge in goal for the Sabres leading Marian to a spot in the NACC Tournament. King made 19 saves last week allowing just two goals for a .905 save percentage. She made seven saves in a 3-1 win over Lakeland before stopping another 12 shots in a 1-1 stalemate with Edgewood. Her performance against the Eagles was the fourth time this season with double-digit saves.
