Gottner, a senior, won the men's individual title at the 2024 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Cross Country Championships. He covered the 8-kilometer course at Northwestern Medicine Cross Country Course in Geneva, Illinois, in a time of 24:59.91 - just two seconds off his personal-best time and 18 seconds ahead of the field. Gottner's effort helped MSOE to the men's team title.
