Colon Maldonado, a senior, competed in two events at the Aurora Grand Prix. She won the 3000-meter run in a time of 9:47.32, beating the rest of the field by more than 30 seconds. That time currently ranks her fifth on the NCAA Division III performance list. Colon Maldonado also finished runner-up in the mile in a time of 4:52.70, just 0.39 seconds off the time set by University of Chicago's Claudia Harnett (4:52.31). Her time is a new Aurora and NACC record and places her second on the NCAA performance list behind Harnett.
