Verhagen, a sophomore guard, posted a stellar week averaging 36.5 points per game. He started the week finishing one point shy of the program record for points in a game with 44 points against Lakeland, where he shot 68.0 from the field and added a career-best 10 assists, four rebounds, and three steals. He then tallied 29 points and shot 63.6 percent from the field against Rockford to go with his eight assists, three steals and two rebounds.
