Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference

VanEngen, a sophomore setter, was involved in all facets of the game over three contests for Benedictine last week. He posted 15 blocks including four solo stops while posting 20 digs and dishing out 113 assists. He opened the weekend with 27 assists and five blocks in a three-set win over Wittenberg, then escalated to 37 assists and seven blocks (three solos) in a four-set loss to Wabash before closing with 47 assists and three blocks in a five-set win over Illinois Wesleyan. VanEngen is the conference leader in total assists and ranks second in assist per set average.
