Doherty, a junior, broke her own school record in the shot put at the Dick Hendricks Invitational hosted by Ripon. She recorded a personal-best throw of 12.77 meters (41-10 3/4), which ranks third on the NACC performance list and 44th in NCAA Division III. Doherty added a 10th-place finish in the weight throw with a distance of 11.63 meters (38-2).
